I’m a Melbourne-based personal trainer and online fitness/nutrition coach who loves good food, gardening, snuggling up with a good book, spending time with my husband and three sons and…. unleashing my inner Nigella in the kitchen.
My love of good food saw my weight balloon to scary heights in my late thirties. Fortunately for my health and sanity, I discovered fitness, reigned in my over-eating habits, and lost 30kg (around 65 pounds) in my early forties.
During my journey from fat to fit, I discovered that it isn’t necessary to eat bland, boring “diet” food to lose weight or to maintain it, and that with a bit of tweaking, most recipes can fit into a healthy eating plan. This site features just some of my favourite recipes for tasty food that will satisfy both taste buds and hunger, without adding to the size of your butt.
